The khanda emoji shows an important symbol of the Sikh faith. It represents the idea of the oneness of God and the core beliefs of Sikhism. The design of the khanda includes three main parts: a double-edged sword in the center, which is called the Khanda; a circular shape known as the Chakkar, which stands for unity and eternity; and two single-edged swords, or Kirpans, on either side. Together, this symbol holds deep meaning for Sikhs worldwide and reflects their values of justice, spirituality, and the balance between devotion and strength.
The khanda emoji was approved in Unicode 15.0 and added in Emoji 15.0, see related proposal L2/21223
