Flag: New Caledonia emoji meaning

The flag of New Caledonia emoji represents the official flag of this special collectivity of France located in the Pacific Ocean. The design consists of three horizontal stripes: blue at the top, red in the middle, and green at the bottom. Each color holds significance, with blue symbolizing the sky and ocean, red representing unity and sacrifice, and green standing for the land and nature. On the left side of the flag, there is a yellow circle with a black symbol in the center, which is a traditional Kanak cultural emblem called a flèche faîtière. This design reflects the heritage and identity of the Kanak people, the indigenous population of New Caledonia. The flag was adopted in 2010 to officially represent the region alongside the French Tricolore.
