The flag of the Caribbean Netherlands emoji represents the special municipalities of the Netherlands located in the Caribbean. These include Bonaire, Sint Eustatius, and Saba. Since the Caribbean Netherlands does not have its own national flag, as it is officially part of the Netherlands, this emoji is often associated with these islands. On most platforms, this emoji displays the flag of Bonaire. The design of Bonaire's flag features a large blue triangle in the lower right corner, symbolizing the sea, and a smaller yellow triangle in the upper left corner, representing the sun. These triangles are separated by a white diagonal stripe, which symbolizes peace. In the center of the stripe, there is a black compass, representing the navigational skills of the island's inhabitants, alongside a red six-pointed star, which stands for the six original settlements of Bonaire. On some platforms, however, this emoji may show the national flag of the Netherlands instead. This variation reflects the political connection between the Caribbean Netherlands and the European part of the Netherlands.
The flag: Caribbean Netherlands emoji is also known as BQ Flag Emoji.
